Walter Baker is a minor character in Fears to Fathom - Carson House. He is the father to Noah Baker.
Personality[]
Walter is a strict yet caring father to Noah as much as amicable businessman. At the events of the game, he and his son worked on mending their relationship since the latter's ill-fated toxic ties with Cara, more so due to Noah's said former girlfriend revealed to be mentally unstable and that Noah himself was too trusting toward her at the time. Moreover, he didn't hesitate to call the cops upon learning Cara's attempt to kill him and anyone he cherished.

Not much is known about Walter's past, only that her worked as a realtor and almost always had friendly relationship with clients. He also married and had a child he and his wife named Noah.
The relationship between Walter and Noah became sour after the latter started dating Cara since meeting her through a dating site three years back. Unlike Noah, Walter noticed her neither a good girlfriend nor best influence to his son since day 1, which proven right 2 months into their relationship during which she unveiled her true colors as she descent into drug and liquor addiction. After Noah wisely broke up with Cara, the father and son worked on mending their ties bit by bit.
Fears to Fathom - Carson House[]
In the events of the game, Walter returned home for work and offered Noah a small part-time job for the weekend; one of his old clients, Roy Carson, was going away for a few days and he would pay him $100 in exchange of looking after his home and doing basic chores in the mean time. Since he didn't have much to do apart from getting his schoolwork done and not particularly picky where his pocket money came from, Noah accepted the offer.
So, Walter drove his son to Roy's house. Upon arrival there, he woke his son who slept mid-journey and informed him how to get into the how before leaving.
Upon learning Cara figured out Noah's whereabouts and subsequent attempt murder on him, Walter wasted no time to call the cops. By the time the police arrived though Cara already left, but not for long as not only Noah revealed to them the location of her residence, but her activities in Roy's house got recorded by security cameras installed there.

- He is a second character in alert cops, after Miles's mother in the first chapter.
- In the fan-made adaptation of the game:
- He doesn't call the cops to deal Cara as the deed already done by his son.
- His relationship with Noah isn't as strained given to their friendly exchange at the beginning, which was intentional to leave his son's interaction with his friends at Knucks Convenience Store as sole foreshadowing of encounter with Cara.
- He is the second character who called 911, preceded by Miles's mother and Rick Wilson.
